About Cavitations

This is a statement from AIOMT regarding osteo-necrosis of the jaw.   This a position paper written by a group of professionals who do these surgeries almost daily.  If you suspect you have this you must read it.

If you have ever had a tooth extracted, including wisdom teeth, a root canal or excessive use of an anesthetic called epinephrene, any SERIOUS systemic infection, such as arthritis or lyme disease, then this is a MUST READ.

Ask for PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) for bone grafting! Not all dentists do this for cavitation procedures. It is a very necessary part of healing.  Read more here.

His depth of understanding and capacity to explain is impressive. He even covered the galvanic response of different metals in fillings and it’s impact on the digestive system… which has MOST definitely been part of my experience.
