Thank you for your concern. I really appreciate it

Bottom line is I’m uninsured due to deficiencies of our medical/dental/insurance system and I need to raise $20,000 ASAP.  Without intervention, my lifespan will be significantly shorter and more painful.

All funds are being managed in a trust, to assure that these funds will only be used for medical related expenses.

Donations of ANY amount also sends a message of hope and solidarity to Kimberly and others living with similar health concerns.

Your Donation Options

  1. Online via GoFundMe.  (For those preferring more public facing option, with social share options, this is an effective option to engage with the campaign.)
  2. Online via PayPal  (one time or recurrent) (Most cost effective platform, but they are ending personal fundraisers in 2025)

  5. If 501C3 is required, this will be an option in the future.  (ONLY for hyperbaric oxygen currently.

Examples of what a donation could purchase:

  1. $  25 helps with travel expenses.
  2. $ 250 helps buy supportive therapies like IV anti-biotics or lymphatic massage.
  3. $ 750 helps buy dental workup with surgeon (Updated cone beam, etc)
  4. $1000 helps remove and replace 1 mercury filling
  5. $2500 helps provide sinus lift
  6. $5000 helps with cavitation surgery (osteo-necrosis) and supportive therapies.

If a 501c3 is required to donate, please contact me for details. Special arrangements might be made for hyperbaric oxygen which will cost $11,000.

Each person choosing to help becomes an angel of the project. I will share lessons and progress along the journey, privately via email or in person.  When I feel stronger and more supported, I may which to make the wisdom I share more readily accessible.

SUMMARY – TAX DEDUCTIBLE
$11,000 2024 Hyperbaric 6 weeks, 5 days a week, 2 hours
Used to be covered by Medicare insurance until 2015 when the ICD codes changed.  There are insurance policies that will cover this, but NOT Medi-care.

A letter from the hyperbaric oxygen center will be uploaded in a few days which perfectly illustrates the medical necessity for this therapy toward recovery.

ABOUT PRIVACY AND A POSSIBLE THANK YOU PARTY

I will not disclose who donated to respect privacy, unless the donor wishes to disclose their identity, then of course I’ll be happy to honor their contributions to my recovery with others following my story.

I think it would be lovely at the end of this recovery journey to invite donors to a “Celebration of Life Party.” (Not the kind associated with funerals, but rather a victory party!)
